Continuing the work of Vegan Street's Marla Rose who started a Vegan Bake Sale in Chicago this month to benefit immigrant families and asylum seekers, 5 of SoCal's local community organizers have come together to host a 5 city joint Vegan Bake Sale to raise funds for RAICES.
During these turbulent times, it is important to join together and fight on behalf of our planet's most vulnerable whenever we can. 100% of proceeds will benefit RAICES. All events are FREE to enter and most are family friendly (Long Beach is 21+ due to venue). Please choose a city and come support this cause if you are able. If you are not, you may donate directly to their fundraising efforts HERE- https://facebook.com/donate/490507544717085/
If you can’t make it, PLEASE SHARE the event with friends.

We are raising money for RAICES (https://facebook.com/raicestexas
), the largest immigration legal services provider in Texas. For years, RAICES has been working with some of the most vulnerable members of our society to ensure they receive advocacy and fair legal representation. RAICES directly funds bond to allow parents to reclaim their detained children. They will ensure legal representation for every separated family and every unaccompanied child in Texas' immigration courts (last year, 76% of kids (over 13,000!) did not have representation). They will work to get these children and parents the psychological care they will need after this experience.
