Come join with friends of the HB Singles Ward for a delightful night of music and amazing cinematic moments projected on screen with a live orchestra, under the stars.
If you are not sure of who John Williams is, think of your classic blockbusters, and John Williams may have orchestrated the music. A few movies you may recognize that he composed music for include Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Superman, ET, Indiana Jones, Catch me if you Can, Hook, Schindler's List, and Jaws, just to name a few.
I'm planning on getting tickets in the $36-$68 price range, depending on what is available when I get the tickets for our group. I will be buying tickets in the next week or two before the show sells out, so get with your people or make some new friends by going to the concert, and let me know if you are in and if so, if you have a preferred price range.
Here's a description from the Hollywood Bowl Website:
John Williams, Hollywood’s beloved master of cinematic scores, celebrates the 40th anniversary of his Bowl debut with any evening of some of his biggest movie hits, including some selections performed with film clips. David Newman will return to lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in the first half of all three performances. It’s an unforgettable concert you won’t want to miss!
