We are excited to begin a year of programming for 2018 in partnership with the Los Angeles River Center and Mujeres de la Tierra. Wellness workshops will be provided every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 6-8pm. Free for the community, and facilitated by the community!
Our first workshop will be a sacred art workshop, using painting as meditation for wisdom. The stone people can teach us many things about how to remember who we are. Come explore the use of art as a way to find your center, ground to Mother Earth, and connect with your embodied wisdom and ancestral strength.
FREE- donations accepted to support ongoing services, supplies, and teachings.
Painting supplies and stones will be proved.
Ideal for ages 12 and up
Children are welcome but will need close supervision as we are using PERMANENT paint.
WHAT TO BRING:
Open mind and heart
Clothes to paint in
Large stone if you want a particular one or have some to share. Small stones will be provided.
