Experience the exuberant celebration of Carnaval at our Family Festival! Enjoy live music, free face painting, craft vendors and participate in mask-making workshops, gallery tours and much more. We encourage you to wear masquerade outfits and get ready to dance! Food and drinks available for purchase.

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

* 11:00am – 4:30pm: Art Workshops, Interactive Activities, Free Face Painting (Balboa Events Center)
* 11:00am – 5:00pm: Craft Vendors, Food and Drinks for Purchase (Back Parking Lot)
* 11:30am – 4:30pm: Live Musical Performances (Sculpture Garden)
* 12:30pm & 2:30pm: Children’s Storytime (Screening Room)
* 2:00pm – 3:00pm: Docent Tours of Galleries (Meet in Lobby)

* Music sets throughout the day by DJ Fuego of Metralleta de Oro (Back Parking Lot)

* 11:30am – 12:30pm: BodySport Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts)
* 1:30pm – 2:30pm: NOVALA (Afro-Funk/Afrobeat)
* 3:30pm – 4:30pm: Julie Simon Dance's Tropicaleiza Dance Company (Contemporary Brazilian)

PAID PARKING AT MOLAA: There will be a $5 parking fee per car or motorcycle. MOLAA's parking lot fills up quickly on Target Free Sundays and there is limited street parking, so we recommend that you arrive early, carpool, bike or take public transportation.
