The California Black Health Agenda Policy Summit is a two day statewide convening of thought leaders, policy analysts, healthcare providers, and community activists committed to improving the health and well-being of California’s African American community. This two-day Policy Summit will be held February 12 and 13, in Los Angeles.
Day 1 (Feb. 12th) of the Policy Summit will feature the release of the California Black Health Agenda, a document which casts visions and practical recommendations targeting complex issues facing various African American communities. Inspirational visionaries, analysts and activists will review the Agenda and offer stimulating insights into barriers, next steps and hope. Day 1 is hosted at The California Endowment Los Angeles Conference Center. Lunch and a reception will be provided as part of the registration. A limited number of scholarships are also available. Don’t miss Day 2 (Feb. 13th) hosted at The DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown Hotel. On Day 2, local and statewide activists will gather to shape the direction and implementation of the California Black Health Agenda. The Agenda is an open source document and may be used to move various issues locally and statewide. The community is invited to participate in the movement and create its own agenda using this important document. Breakfast will be provided to registered participants.
