Experience a two-wheeled tour of «Art Night Pasadena» presented by Metro Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) program.
On Friday October 13th the Downtown Pasadena Neighborhood Association and BikeSGV will host a special, beginner-friendly ride including Metro Bike Share bikes for those who would like to try to the system free of charge; participants are also welcome to bring their own bikes to the ride.
The flat, 2.5 mile route will include stops at several art venues, allowing participants time to explore temporary installations, historic Pasadena buildings and arts institutions, as well as socialize with fellow bike- and art-lovers.
All participants will also receive a free raffle ticket, with t-shirts and other goodies up for grabs!

-5:30pm — Meet Big Bang Theory Alley, across from Memorial Park Gold Line Station (corner of Holly and Raymond). Sign-in, raffle tickets, check out Bike Share bikes, review basic rules of road including signaling.
-7:30pm — Final stop at Pasadena City Hall, return bikes. Participants can check out exhibitions at City Hall, Central Library, Day One, Armory Center, etc. Memorial Park Gold Line Station is conveniently 1 block east of final docking station.
Start/End: Ride starts from Big Bang Theory Alley, across from Memorial Park Gold Line Station (corner of Holly and Raymond). Ride ends at Pasadena City Hall, 175 N. Garfield Ave. (1 block west of Memorial Park).
If you plan to drive a car to the ride we strongly suggest parking at another Gold Line station and taking Metro to the starting location, as street and structure parking is limited in downtown Pasadena. Allen Station and stations further east, as well as Filmore station to the west, have large auto parking lots.

-Please Reserve a «Bike Share ticket» if you would like to utilize a Metro Bike Share bike free of charge.
-Otherwise if you have a functional bicycle please reserve a «I'll bring my own bike» ticket.
-A TAP card or money for fare if you plan to use the Metro Gold Line.
-A helmet is required for anyone under 18.
-Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
-Bikes with training wheels are not permitted, but children are welcome to attend if pulled in a trailer or on-bike child seat.
-Experience Level: Beginner — Mostly flat, 2.5 mile route with frequent stops.
