The romance of the past and the spirit of the future merge seamlessly at Traxx Bar and Restaurant. Traxx is located inside one of L.A.'s most famous landmarks, Union Station, where Spanish Colonial Revival, Art Deco, and Streamline architecture fuse to create a chic, sleek Temple of Travel. A star player in many a Hollywood production, breathtaking Union Station is always a society favorite.
Please join the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles for Cocktails in Historic Places™ from 6 to 9 pm on Friday, October 13th, 2017. We’ll be meeting in the Traxx Bar, which is located close to Union Station’s Main Entrance near the South Patio. A limited menu is served at the bar, but if you’re in the mood for something more substantial, Traxx Restaurant, just above the North Patio, is a great option. For dinner reservations, go to Open Table or call (213) 625-1999.
All trains, subways, light rail, and freeways lead to Traxx. Street parking is scarce in the area, but Traxx provides 2.5 hour validations for dining guests who park in Lot B, Lot D or Valet Parking.
Cocktails in Historic Places® is open to members and non-members alike and reservations are not required, but an RSVP on the Facebook page helps us get a head count (and generates an event reminder).
Come straight from work, or slip into something more Deco—either way, come join us! Show your ADSLA spirit and wear your membership pin!
