Q & A after the film with director Mark Devries

Speciasm is a documentary about modern American farms struggling to keep a secret; most of the animals used for food in the United States are raised in giant, bizarre “factory farms,” hidden deep in remote areas of the countryside. Speciesism: The Movie director Mark Devries set out to investigate. The documentary takes viewers on a sometimes funny, sometimes frightening adventure, crawling through the bushes that hide these factories, flying in airplanes above their toxic “manure lagoons,” and coming face-to-face with their owners.

Come early (6pm) to eat at the COMMUNITY TABLE in the main dining room with other movie goers and activists (separate bills)!!! Call 213-617-2533 to reserve a spot at the community table OR a private table in the main dining room. All orders after 7:15 must go to the bar and will be brought in to the movie room. No dinner service in the back movie room but you may order dinner at the bar and have it brought to you inside the Fedora.
