Having written many songs that have become anthems of American life such as, “White Christmas,” “Happy Holiday,” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” Irving Berlin is considered by many as one of the greatest songwriters in American history. He published his first song when he was just 19 years old, earning him 33 cents for the publishing rights. Berlin would go on to write an estimated 1,500 songs including scores for 19 Broadway musicals and 18 Hollywood Films.
