CHEER at Dodger Stadium 2017 BRIEF OVERVIEW
Join the Dodgers for a one-of-a-kind cheer event you will not forget! We invite your organization to join us for our Annual Cheer Night at Dodger Stadium. Not only will you be able to perform on the field in front of your family and friends, but you will also get your team’s name printed on the tickets and shown on our message board during the game!
This event is a great fundraiser and we make it easy! Here’s how it works – purchase discounted tickets from the Dodgers and sell them at the regular price (which is printed on the ticket). You would then keep the difference of each ticket purchased as funds raised — the more tickets you sell for the event, the more money for your organization!
To participate in the pregame performance, a minimum of 50 tickets must be purchased by your organization. Everyone that is either performing or watching from the seats will require a ticket to the game, so if you have 10 students, each would only need to sell 5 tickets to hit your goal of 50 for the whole team!
RULES & GUIDELINES
Each team needs to be in team issued attire. This includes performers & coaches.
Parents/family/friends/”team moms/dads”/etc. are not allowed on the field. On the day of the
event, coaches will be given a wristband that will allow them entry onto the field for the pregame performance:
10-29 performers: 1-3 coaches allowed on-field
30-49 performers: 4-6 coaches allowed on-field
50-74 performers: 6-8 coaches allowed on-field
75+ performers: 9-12 coaches allowed on-field
Everyone (performers, parents, coaches, family, or friends whether watching, performing, or staying for the game) will need to have a ticket. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Each parent/guardian must sign & date a participation waiver. Prior to the game, each coach will be required to submit their anticipated numbers of coaches and performers participating in the event. Upon check in on the day of the game, each coach must submit waivers totaling the same amount given in advance.
Post-performance, it is the coaches’ responsibility to escort the performers back to the designated seating location. In order for everyone to get into the stadium, they must have their ticket.
Dodger Stadium has a no re-entry policy. Thus once you enter the stadium (i.e. your ticket is scanned), you are not allowed to leave and re-enter in under any circumstances. Since the performers will not be getting their tickets scanned prior to the performance, this is imperative information to pass along to your parents/family/friends who may be waiting for their performer post-performance.
DAY OF GAME INFO
On the day of the event, plan ahead. Please remind your coaches and parents to allow themselves plenty of time to enter the stadium, park, & travel to our designated meeting place. Incoming traffic tends to be heavy.
After the pregame performance is finished, we will exit through the same center field gate and you can go to your seats. If you will not be staying for the game, you can exit the stadium but your parking fees will not be refunded.
While on the field, you are NOT allowed to take photos or solicit autographs or pictures from players and/or coaches.
As the event date approaches, additional details regarding the day of game will be provided.
