Music is the most important language and the most important way to communicate. It is my favorite language. On Friday, August 25, we’ll gather in Grand Park to present a night of music that connects us all. From The Violent Femmes and David Bowie, to Erkin Koray and The Meridian Brothers, we will experience some of the world’s finest rock‘ n roll songs that span the many ages and countries of the planet. Joining me will be Computer Jay and C Minus, as we experience the most important language together.

The event is FREE and open to all ages. Couples, singles, and children welcome!
The event runs from 9 PM — midnight. This event takes place on the Event Lawn at Grand Park, in front of City Hall.

There are numerous parking lots located around Grand Park. The flat rate for parking after 8 PM range from $5 at Walt Disney Concert Hall to $10 at Lot 10 & 17. ADA parking is available at the Law Library (108 N. Hill St.) for $10 after 4 PM.

Back for the 13th year, The Music Center’s Dance DTLA is an evening of dancing under the stars Friday nights in the summer months, from June-September, 2017. Hosted this year entirely in Grand Park, the series features DJ Nights, every other Friday night, curated by influential artists who give voice to a dynamic, vibrant L.A. culture.
