— ACA EdMonth is a student-led program and campaign devoted to raising awareness about the state of education in our country. We host a wide variety of events throughout the month of March that engage students in a critical exploration of education, and empower them to join the movement for educational justice. EdMonth uniquely bridges the LA and USC communities, and by prioritizing marginalized students, we aim to give a platform to those that face educational inequity directly.

Why «Liberation Through Education»?
Our current social and political climate fosters a culture of “alternative facts” and misinformation. Sensational headlines and social media have become a tool for fearmongering and the baseless criminalization of marginalized communities. The best way to combat these issues is by educating ourselves and our peers. The ability to access truth and knowledge through quality education is key to strengthening our communities and fighting for our liberation.
